A simple and beautiful lantern is all we need to accompany us into the cold months ahead. Use warmly colored paper, cut out shapes (moons, stars etc.), cover them with transparent colored paper, roll it up, put the bottom on, fix a candle inside, make the handle and there you have it! For all ages - adults please work with younger children.

An Interactive Discussion Session with Rahima Baldwin Dancy. Wet Felting: Balls and Caterpillars
Use unspun wool to make a felt ball or several strung together to make a caterpillar. Roll the soapy, wet wool around and around in your hands to form either a larger ball you can play with (or give to your kitty), or make several small balls to string together to end up with an adorable little caterpillar.
