Friday, September 17, 7-10 PM At the Masonic Temple 225 West Oak Street Fort Collins, Colorado 80521 Come enjoy an elegant, exciting and fun evening event that will be mindfully conscious, green and gorgeous. The important message for attendees will be the need to create change here and now, to be concerned about the future today, and to make a difference in this area that will last lifetimes. Special guests include: Heather C. Flores, author of Food Not Lawns, and others to be announced. The Blue & Green Ball is an elegantly appointed and environmentally green event, with exquisite all-natural and local gourmet appetizers, innovative energy alternatives, and zero-waste stations. The event will be 100% carbon neutral, through partnership with the Colorado Carbon Fund to offset the event’s already minimized footprint. Everything about the event will be green – from attire suggestions to eco-centric decorations. Tickets: $40 before August 15th, $50 after that and at the Door. Must be 21 to attend. Pre-registration is required, limited to 350 tickets. Attire Suggestions: Attire is “green tie”: blue or green cocktail dresses for the ladies, blue or green ties for the gents. Think eco-elegant!
