Brain Dance Demonstration/Interactive Activity
Developed by Anne Green Gilbert, at the Creative Dance Center in Seattle, Washing, the BrainDance is a series of exercises that reorganizes the neurological system, increases blood and oxygen flow to the respiratory system and brain, and enhances core support, connectivity, and alignment. It is comprised of eight fundamental movement patterns that we move through in the first year of life. Extensive research and years of implementation in schools around the nation has shown that these patterns are crucial to the wiring of our central nervous system. It is easy, fun, and wonderful!

Environmental Stewardship: The Outward Bound Way
Come and experience Outward Bound's signature experiential learning through fun and challenging initiatives and hands-on activities that will introduce you and your family to the fun, adventure and power of an Outward Bound course. In the field, Outward Bound attempts to stay as lightweight as possible from gear to basic needs, while still being good environmental stewards. We will be sharing some of those skills that you and your family can practice on your next backpacking trip. And most importantly, we will introduce you to the Leave No Trace environmental stewardship practices we use in the field, at our sites and throughout our communities. Activities include: ultra light backcountry cooking stoves, lightweight sleeping accommodations and environmental stewardship practices for both backcountry and in your own neighborhood!
